We warmly welcome you to join us for the biggest exhibition of the year - with nine of the most well-known Danish contemporary artists - this Saturday, for the exhibition “A Space in Time.” You will experience the artists up close and personal - they will talk about their works and be available to answer your questions.
A SPACE IN TIME
Stagnation. Time warp. Pause. – A moment untouched by time or space.
If we only exist in the ‘here and now,’ untethered to the past, our history, the future or expectations, what’s left?
Time, place, and space as indicators for what has happened and what forms us as people.
Never completely neutral, never completely unaffected.
With the exhibition “A Space in Time” we wish to explore a space disconnected from our expectations and histories and instead turn our attention to the Here-and-Now-feeling, where everything is put on standby.
Experience the artists up close and hear them as they talk about their work and the societal context of their paintings.
These contemporary Danish artists are among the very best in the country and six of them will attend the opening: Martin Bigum, Allan Otte, Jacob Brostrup, Ivan Andersen, and Astrid Marie Christiansen.
They will each talk about their works, starting at 12:30. Martin Bigum will autograph and make personal drawings in his book, “My personal Art History” which will be available for purchase.
