Innerfields is the Berlin-based artist duo of Jakob Tory Bardou and Holger Weißflog. Growing up with graffiti and numerous other influences, they have been working together since 1998. Their work reflects their environment in figurative, realistic motifs, enriched with graphic elements and symbols.
A central theme is the tension between humans as part of nature and their simultaneous alienation from it in a highly technological and artificial world.
The duo is internationally active – from commissioned projects to independent art on facades and canvases, as well as exhibitions, festivals, and projects around the globe. Their large-scale murals are regarded as visual storytelling, connecting regional contexts, social issues, and universal themes.
