Fascinated by the old masters, Spear narrates today's social struggles by adopting the codes of Romantic painting.
After a degree in Architecture, Corentin Spear (aka Spear) travelled around the world and realized numerous murals. His travels allowed him to be aware of different social realities, it opened his eyes on the human condition around the world and made him question our lifestyle and values. His work is his way of sharing his thoughts and interrogations on today's society.
Fascinated by the old masters, Spear narrates today's social struggles by adopting the codes of Romantic painting to emphasize the ongoing importance of fighting to maintain the rights acquired through past revolts. It is Mutual Aid that will help shape the features of a radically fairer society. But getting involved requires awareness, followed by action. This is what Corentin Spear encourages you to do, forcing us to question our ways of life, thoughts, and the world in which we live.
