As part of the 11th edition of ‘Out in the Open’ Italian Alessio-B has just finished his mural ‘Passing on History’ as a footnote to the ancient ‘Handcraft House’ next to the building.
At his new mural we´ll find a little girl watching, taking along and learning from past generations, leaning at the roof of the house.
About the mural Alessio tells the following: “To me it was decisive for the mural to reflect the historic building next to it. As a historical building from the 17th century and considering the decisive impact the new generation learning from and passing on history. To underline the importance of our cultural heritage, to preserve and not forget about our forefathers. At the same time I had the possibility to meet some of the people working in the handcraft house, passing on old handcraft and traditions to the next generations. This I wanted to pass on with the little girl representing the next generation in the mural ‘Passing on History’.”
